History of the Double-Helix
Welcome to my site about DNA and it's structure, the Double-Helix. I started this site for a class project and I tried my best to make this site informative. Well, here you go I hope you enjoy it. The race to find the structure of DNA was a very interesting one full of trial-and-errror, frustration, and competition. The two people leading to the discovery of the structure of DNA were James D. Watson and Francis C. Crick. Other people important to finding the DNA structure were Rosalind Franklin, Linus Pauling, and Maurice Wilkins. I have also incorporated a link to the official web site of The Nobel Foundation so that you can you can find out more about the importance of the discovery of the double-helix and its discoverors, Francis C. Crick, James D. Watson, and also on Maurice Wilkins. All three people listed above Francis Crick, James Watson, and Maurice Wilkins were the winners of the 1962 Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine.
Note: This site is still under construction and is still missing some important information, But it will be finished shortly. Thank you for the inconvenience.
